| We came in Fifth Place in the GCBSR starting at the Bay Bridge and ending in Portsmouth VA. Cherri got sea sick but managed to attend the awards. Bob Kay and Cherri Reese donated their annual proceeds to Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Bob Kay and the Martha White were awarded the Schooner Races' most prestegous award, THE BLACK DOG Trophy, for emulating the Spirit of the late Lane Briggs, who promoted the Bay and the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race. What a wonderful surprise...... Thanks to all of you who have supported our cause...more info later....headed for Cambridge Schooner Rendezvous on the 24th. Love to All | ||

| 20th to 27th | Cedar Key Florida | Elaine Hamlet and Cherri Reese Well folks we had a hard winter in 09. Elaine and Cherri became ill about the same time. Elaine had her left lung removed because of cancer. And Cherri had 14 inches of colon removed because of Diverticulitis. There were many hospital and doctor visits but as of now both girls are back on their feet and rearing to go. Come see us on Friday nights in front of Landon Marine around 7:30 pm. |

| 15th | Chestertown MD | Schoonertime departs for Cedar Key ,Florida. We will once again be off for the warm winter in Cedar Key at the Sunset Isle RV Park. Bluegrass music on Friday nights by the fire side. What a place to bring your camper...see you there. |
